Kangaroo Island

Another amazing day! Took a 2 hour bus trip to catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island. The island has a population of around 4,000 full year and larger in the summer. Reminded me of Martha's Vineyard except with kangaroos, koala bears and beautiful birds. Spent most of the day viewing beautiful rock formations. First I visited seal beach and watched the Australian sea lion play in the surf and sun. It was extremely hot today 41c . The sea lion was fun to watch and photograph. Then I went to Vivonne Bay for lunch and to photograph birds. I was lucky enough to spot some koala bears in a tree resting. Including the cutest baby koala. From there went to finders national park, Remarkable rocks, Cape du Couedic Lighthouse, Admiral Arch and finally took the ferry back to Adalaide. Arrived back to hotel around 10:30 in the eve. Flying back to Melbourne in the morning. Then off to Phillip island to see the penguins.
